Born in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, she studied at the Convent of Jesus and Mary School, Shimla. Her real name is Preetam Singh Zinta. She comes from a Sikh family. At first she was going to do a English honours but decided to pursue psychology. She also attended Bombay University. After getting a degree in criminal psychology at the St. Bedes College, Zinta began her career as a model and commercial (ad films) actress (she was seen in Lyril's soap ad film).Her father, Durganand Zinta was an officer in the Indian Army. Durganand Zinta died when Preity was thirteen, in a car accident in which her mother, Nilprabha Zinta was also involved. Her mother was bedridden because of this incident. Zinta has two brothers, Deepanker Zinta and Manish Zinta, a year older and a year younger respectively. One of her brothers is a commissioned officer in the Indian Army.She is currently dating Ness Wadia, the heir to the Bombay Dyeing company.Previously, when she was not shooting she used to return to Shimla. Zinta recently moved into her own home in Mumbai, which she bought in mid-2005.

Preity born January 31, 1975) is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Hindi cinemas of Bollywood, Telugu and English movies. A criminal psychology graduate, Zinta made her acting debut in Dil Se in 1998, followed by Soldier in the same year. She won a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for both films, and was later recognised for her performance as a teenage single mother in Kya Kehna. Following this, she went on to display her range and portray a diversity of characters, subsequently credited with bringing a change in the image of Hindi film heroine.

Zinta received her first Filmfare Best Actress Award for her performance in Kal Ho Naa Ho in 2003. She played the lead female role in two consecutive top-grossing films in India—the science fiction Koi... Mil Gaya, which is her biggest commercial success to date, and the cross-border romance Veer-Zaara, which earned her critical acclaim. She was later noted for her portrayal of independent, modern Indian women in Salaam Namaste and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, overseas top grossers. Zinta thus has established herself as a leading actress of Hindi cinema.
In addition to being an actress, Zinta is a columnist, having written columns for BBC News Online South Asia, and a regular stage performer. She is known in the Indian media for publicly speaking her mind and openly expressing her opinions, occasionally surrounding herself with controversy.

Nisha Kothari born Priyanka Kothari also known as Amoha, is an Indian Bollywood actress and model. Born on November 30th 1983.

Sagittarian Kothari was born in Kolkata, and grew up speaking English, Bengali, Rajasthani, and Hindi. She moved to New Delhi while in 10th standard and got her degree in Chemistry at Delhi University at Dayal Singh College. She then became a model and appeared in Jay Jay, a Tamil movie, as Amoha. Her dad is a chemical businessman, her mom a home-maker, and she has a married elder sister. She got her break through actor Madhavan, who recommended her for an audition in Chennai after viewing her photographs. She was debuted to Bollywood in the films and James and Sarkar (which came out first), both by Ram Gopal Varma. She then went on to do The Killer with Emraan Hashmi and the Bhatts. She replaced Urmila Matondkar as Verma's latest 'protege'.
