Shreya is having her best time in kollywood. After impressing the Telugu film industry she is now determined to rule the Tamil film industry. After Jothika's retirement from film field after her marriage with Surya, the throne for number one Tamil heroine is vacant now shreya is eying that.Shreya entered the media industry as a model; she also acted in several advertisements. Shreya debut film in Tamil was Enakku irupathu unakku padhinettu, in that film she was a second heroine, Trisha played the lead role. That film failed to hit the box office. Her second film in Tamil was with Jayam Ravi; the name of that film is Mazhaiâ. That too failed to impress the Tamil fans.After two flops in a row shreya was considered as an unlucky heroine. But she bared that pain and waited for the correct opportunity, luck was in her favour she got the golden chance in the form of Sivajiâ, Tamil films super star Rajinis oncoming film. With Rajinis search for his next heroine ends in Shreya; her future in Tamil films became brighter. She also realized the space left by Simran and Jothika; the last recognized heroine duo of Tamil film industry.
Right from the film Babaâ Rajini is looking for Aiswarya Rai, but cant get her. Later that disappointment extends to Padayappa and Sivaji. In the film Chandramuki™ Nayanthara played a part, which gave her the needed exposure to become one among the busy heroine of south India.Soon after Shreya booked as the heroine of Sivaji she got a chance to act in Thiruvilayadal Arambamâ with Dhanush as hero. Which became a hit; along with Shreya it gave a break to Dhanush also. Sivaji will be released on mid of April, which without any point of doubt would be yet another record breaking super hit film. Shreya already see her dates getting huge demand among the producers. Already she has been converted as the top priority heroine. Frontline heroes opt for shreya; Vijays next films Azhgiya Tamilmagan, Vikrams next film andaswamy are the next project of Shreya, this itself shows her bright future in Tamil cinema.
In the near future we will see hit parades from Shreya, who once a flop heroine.
